Earlier, merchants were able to add only 100 products per plan. We have now extended it to 500 products per plan.
This will help you manage up to 10,000 products in the Dibs app. Using collections makes it easier to manage preorder or backorder settings for larger stores efficiently.
These collections are temporary and can be deleted after associating the products with the plan.
In this guide, I’ll show you the steps to add bulk products to a plan.
1. Create a Collection
In your Shopify admin, go to Products → Collections.
Click Add Collection in the top-right corner.
Enter a title for the collection and click Save.
2. Add Products to the Collection
Go back to Products.
Select the products you want to include in the preorder/backorder plan. You can add a maximum of 500 products per plan.
Each page displays 50 products. Click Select All on all 10 pages to select up to 500 products.
Click the More actions icon and select Add to collection(s).
In the popup, choose the collection you created now and then click Save.
The process may take a few moments, depending on the number of products selected.
3. Create the Preorder/Backorder Plan
Open the Dibs app and begin creating a new preorder/backorder plan.
Follow the usual plan creation process.
In the Select Products section, click the dropdown and you will find Product, Variant, and Collection. Select Collection.
In the pop-up, choose the collection you created. All products in the collection will now be automatically associated with the plan.

Collection is just used as a shortcut method to associate products to the plan here. You may delete the collect if no longer required.
